As president and chief executive officer, Rick Graf directs Pinnacle and Rhapsody's strategic planning and long-term growth and profitability. He also guides the development of the company's vision and corporate culture.
Rick believes that Pinnacle's continued success is achieved by maintaining a constant alignment of its corporate goals and its clients' needs. Therefore, he works closely with senior staff to provide continuous reinforcement of the firm's strong customer service culture.
Rick is on the Executive Board of the National Multi Family Housing Council (NMHC), and is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the National Apartment Association (NAA). Rick is the past president of the Texas Apartment Association (TAA), Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD), and a Regional Vice President of the National Apartment Association (NAA). He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®).
As Rhapsody's Vice President and Pinnacle's Chief Financial Officer, John is responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative analysis for major projects, supervising internal financial controls and cultivating relationships with outside financial sources as Pinnacle and Rhapsody continues to expand internationally. He also serves as a key advisor to the principals of affiliates Olympic Investors, Cascade Affordable Housing and Pinnacle AMS Development Company.
John has more than 29 years of experience in financial management. Before joining Pinnacle, he spent two years as CFO of Corliss Properties. John also served as CFO of Associated Grocers, Inc. for four years and as CFO of R.D. Merrill Co. for 10 years. He began his career in finance at Ernst & Young.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Seattle University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Washington and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jennifer Staciokas is responsible for the international strategy and oversight of the Corporate Marketing, Property Marketing, Training and Revenue Management departments for the Pinnacle and Rhapsody portfolios. Jennifer began her career in the multifamily industry over 18 years ago. Since that time, she has served in numerous capacities at two of the nation's largest property management firms focusing on new construction marketing, digital marketing strategies, employee development and corporate communications.
Jennifer is a regular guest speaker, facilitator, and moderator at many of the industry's most renowned conferences as well as an active participant in NAA and NMHC.
Rob Martin is at the helm of Rhapsody as senior vice president, bringing a unique blend of U.S. and Canadian multifamily management experience. Rob has an extensive property management background on both sides of the border. As a lease-up and operations expert, primarily in the student housing sector, he brings a strong marketing and customer service focus to Rhapsody.
Rob is adept at providing advisory services to multifamily investors, developers, lenders and operators. Under his leadership, his previous company, Campus Habitat became recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Real Estate Companies by Inc. 500 for three consecutive years. Rob has been involved with nearly $1 billion of student housing transactions over the course of his career.
Ryan oversees Rhapsody's operations, positively impacting its development and growth by focusing on strategic planning and goal-setting in support of Rhapsody's mission to exceed expectations.
Ryan joins Rhapsody with more than 8 years of experience in property management, specifically with vertically integrated design-build luxury projects. He has served in multiple capacities throughout his career from assisting acquisitions, due diligence and management transition to working in development and successfully transitioning new lease-up projects to stabilization. He was recently responsible for the operations of a portfolio of luxury apartment communities totalling 2,857 apartment homes and over 100,000 square feet of retail.
Austin has held leadership roles in property management, marketing, leasing and customer experience for a variety of owners and managers across Canada. Most notably, he originated and lead the marketing and leasing division for a national residential property management company. His expertise includes strategic planning, product development and positioning, and leasing for both new developments and stabilized properties.
Austin leads Rhapsody's marketing and training program, focusing on excellence in all aspects of brand, outreach and customer experience for Rhapsody, its clients and their properties.
Meet our management team
Laura is an experienced Executive Assistant with a history of working in both the real estate and civil engineering industry. With her excellent organizational and communication skills, Laura is a strong administrative professional working closely with Rob and the rest of the Rhapsody team.
Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) focused on Honours Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Prior to joining Rhapsody, Malcolm worked at a leading Canadian marketing agency where he serviced some of the largest property management companies across the country. In this role, he created advertising and marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of multifamily, student, single family and new purpose-built rentals in various markets across Canada. Malcolm's experience in sales and marketing, coupled with his multifamily, technology and data analytics experience, enables him to build dynamic lifestyle brands for each of Rhapsody's unique communities.
Ryan Funt's property management experience includes working with both residential and commercial assets. Other key industry positions were held at Tridel (DEL Property Management Inc.) where he served as a property manager. Most recently, as a manager within the property management division at Tim Hortons and Burger King (Restaurants Brands International), he oversaw a portfolio of over 1100 Tim Hortons restaurant locations across Ontario and Saskatchewan with a focus on maximizing property performances and delivering excellent support.
Funt graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax with a degree in Environmental Design (Architecture) and a Bachelor of Commerce.
Audra boasts over 10 years of property management experience in the multifamily industry and holds a Master's Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland. Her diverse multifamily experience includes working on new construction lease-ups, stabilized and student assets in numerous markets including Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Seattle.
In her role at Rhapsody, Audra will oversee operations of Rhapsody's extensive pipeline of luxury purpose-built rentals in the GTA.
Sophie is an experienced property manager in the multifamily industry. She oversees Rhapsody's portfolio of luxury rentals in Western Canada, which include communities in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
Sophie boasts over 20 years of property management experience and will utilize her expertise to serve Rhapsody's communities. Sophie held the position of Regional Property Manager for Pinnacle and oversaw the successful operations of luxury communities in the San Diego, CA region which included several construction and renovation projects.
Siavash's prior experience consists of residential asset management. His previous position was held as an analyst where he oversaw 2000+ multi-family units across Canada. Understanding market drivers and operational attributes, Siavash will ensure Rhapsody's properties meet their forecast and budget targets. He will work with all facets of the business to assist Rhapsody in being a premier property management firm.
Siavash holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University.
Wendy is an experienced Investment Analyst who will strengthen Rhapsody's business strategy. As a Corporate Analyst, Wendy works directly with senior leadership and property teams to forecast budgets for more than 20 luxury rental buildings and conduct intensive rental market research.
Wendy earned a Bachelor Degree in Finance and a Master of Science in Management at Ryerson University – Ted Rogers School of Management.
Having worked at a creative design agency, Armando has experience in graphic and web design, branding, and digital media marketing. He has helped global organizations launch their online presence, build their brand reputation, and manage their digital media marketing strategy.
Armando will utilize his creative and technical background, along with his digital media marketing and analytical expertise to boost Rhapsody's and each of its communities' marketing efforts
With a diverse employment background, Aleshia brings a mix of both corporate and creative experience to the Rhapsody team.
She will develop and manage a cohesive resident experience across all properties, working closely with the marketing team and building staff to streamline different stages of resident experience, plan and execute resident events and unique initiatives, and create Rhapsody communities as the most sought after in Canada. "
Specializing in full cycle recruitment, employee retention, and training and development, Brittny brings over 5 years of HR administrative experience to Rhapsody. Brittny earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario.
Through effective communication and relationship building, Brittny will act as a liaison between Rhapsody and applicants. She will help develop recruitment strategies, respond to external and internal HR related inquiries, ensure company policies and procedures comply with legal requirements as well as the needs of Rhapsody and create a smooth onboarding experience for all new hires.
Lisa brings 20 years of experience in the multi-family industry. She hopes to use her leadership expertise and her diverse Property Management experience to revitalize the rental industry in the Toronto market. Prior to transferring to Rhapsody, she held a position with Pinnacle in Southern California.
Lisa has received several awards for driving occupancy and exceeding financial goals. She plans to build strong management teams and mentor them to succeed and grow.
