Rhapsody Celebrates Kings Club as Latest Addition to Growing Portfolio

TORONTO, Ontario (October 13, 2021) – Rhapsody Property Management Services ("Rhapsody"), Canada's premier property management company, was awarded management of Kings Club – a 506-unit mixed-use purpose-built rental community located at 1100 King Street West. Rhapsody officially took over the community's operations on October 1, 2021.

Kings Club opened its doors in 2019, offering studios, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom suites in the beloved Liberty Village neighbourhood. Located at the north end of Liberty Village, residents have convenient access to King West and West Queen West, placing them in the centre of three of the city's most desirable neighbourhoods for those looking for proximity to bars and restaurants, shopping, entertainment and sporting venues, green space, and transit. Residents can move around the city effortlessly with a 504 streetcar stop located right outside of their front door.

The extensive retail integration at the base of the building is another unique feature that has attracted renters to Kings Club. The building is currently home to Longo's, Shoppers Drug Mart, Winners, Canadian Tire, PetSmart, WeWork, and McDonalds.

"When it comes to convenience, Kings Club checks all the boxes," said Rob Martin, Senior Vice President at Rhapsody. "For those who don't have a car, or those who do but prefer not to have to use it all the time, the location can't be beat."

Residents at Kings Club currently enjoy access to a Fitness Centre and Yoga Studio, Media Room, Business Centre and Lounge, Kids Zone, and a Rooftop Terrace and Infinity Pool with incredible views of the downtown Toronto skyline to the east and Lake Ontario to the south. Rhapsody is working with the owners of the project and an industry-leading interior design firm to enhance the design of the amenity spaces and ensure residents can enjoy them to their fullest potential.

"We have some very exciting plans for Kings Club," said Martin. "We don't want to give away too much just yet, but there is a lot of planning going on behind the scenes to take the resident experience at Kings Club to the next level. In addition to our award-winning customer service platform, residents can look forward to regular resident events, exclusive community and brand partnerships, and an exciting renovation plan for the amenity spaces."

Kings Club is the eleventh community in Rhapsody's growing Toronto portfolio and is located in a pocket of the city that has shown a lot of demand for purpose-built rentals. Earlier this year, Rhapsody celebrated the launch of Liberty House (39 East Liberty Street), just 1 kilometre from Kings Club, and 2020 marked the launch of The Brixton in nearby West Queen West (400 Dufferin Street). With one more Toronto property launch on the horizon before the end of this year, Rhapsody is expected to close out 2021 with 12 managed communities in its Toronto portfolio.
